The first of two quarter-final match-up days featured the defending champions, Concordia, versus the X-Women of St. FX. The evening game involved the host team and the number one ranked Alberta Pandas.
Both games left spectators highly entertained. The Stingers came back from a 2-0 deficit in the second period to defeat the X-Women 5-2.
Waterloo showed up big on the grandest stage thus far this season. The Warriors showed up and showed off in front of a home crowd to win their quarter-final game 3-0 against the Pandas.
